HERE TO SUPPORT YOU
YOUR TRAVEL CARE SPECIALISTS
Your carer is passionate about the work they do. And they want to help you and your loved ones to have the best holiday experience while you're in and around Cairns, North Queensland. They're not just professional - they can be a lot of fun too.
We are proud that our carers are advocates for the ageing community and truly believe that people deserve to experience all life has to offer and live well, irrespective of any given situation. They choose to become carers to empower individuals and families to retain their relationships, way of life and ‘stay in their own stories’.
FAMOUS FOR CARING
We're Locals. We're Professionals. And We Care.
Out There Travel Care carers are qualified with a minimum of Certificate III in Aged / Community Care, CPR and First Aid certificates. Just as important is knowing your carer is passionate about the work they do and that they believe people deserve to live well, irrespective of ability.
LEADERS IN TRAVEL CARE
For the past ten years KF (one of his many nicknames) has been CEO of the highly successful Cairns-based Home Care business, Ten Years Younger.
The start of Ten Years Younger is testament to Kevin’s love for his wife, Maureen. A highly awarded nurse with years of experience working in aged care, Maureen wanted more for the elderly people of Cairns.
More care. More respect. More options. And definitely more living life to the fullest.
Ten Years Younger facilitates all these.
And now Out There Travel Care will fill a need for Personal Care services that meet the individual needs of an ever-growing population of elderly and disabled visitors and carers.
Maureen Fields is a registered nurse with 30 years’ experience; 15 of which were spent working in, and managing aged care facilities.
She is passionate about the welfare of the elderly and committed to improving the standards of aged care in Australia.
As well as founding and overseeing Ten Years Younger Home Care, Maureen is a clinical nurse (and nurse advisor) who supports the clinical management of aged care facilities, ensuring they meet the standards set by government.
It is her mission to ensure people are always at the centre of care.
In 2015 Maureen was honoured with the title of Cairns Business Women of the Year.
